Job summary

Cimarron Inc. in Seal Beach, CA seeks a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to craft software system designs, requirements, and interfaces for space-grade applications. Onsite preferred; remote work may be considered for the right candidate; project duration 6-12 months with possible extension.

You will lead MBSE activities using Cameo, develop SRS, define HW/SW interfaces, support FQT and system integration testing, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• 10+ years of professional systems engineering experience.
• Experience with HW/SW system design and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) throughout the lifecycle.
• Design system-level architectures for integrated HW/SW.
• Define interfaces between software systems and HW/SW components.
• Lead MBSE activities using Cameo to capture requirements and architecture.
• Support system integration testing and participate in SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR reviews.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
