Cimarron Software Services, Inc. seeks an Orbital Flight Instrumentation (OFI) Engineer to support Boeing's CST-100 Starliner at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

You will work with subsystem teams to develop complex electronic and electrical system requirements, translate them into designs, and test hardware to verify compliance. The role requires US citizenship and a valid Real ID; security-sensitive duties apply.

Qualifications

• Citizenship and security requirements for a sensitive position.
• 2+ years in related field and direct experience in orbital flight instrumentation.
• Experience with documentation review and cross‑disciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements with subsystem teams.
• Translate requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specs.
• Test and validate hardware to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance for integration and compliance.
• Lead RCCA activities and report status across the product lifecycle.
• Research technology advances applicable to Cimarron's needs.
• Coordinate with hardware and software teams for OFI subsystem integration.
