Job summary

PNC is seeking a Relationship Manager III - C&IB based in Houston, TX to lead strategic client relationships in commercial banking. You will set relationship strategies, manage risk, and drive revenue growth with senior clients, leveraging the full spectrum of PNC products.

The role requires extensive experience (8+ years) in relationship management, strong credit fundamentals, and a proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• University/college degree required; 8+ years industry experience typical.
• Masters/PhD or certifications desirable.
• Experience with handling complex client relationships and risk.

Responsibilities

• Sets relationship strategies and directs management activities with clients to grow sales, revenue and market share.
• Drives strategy to acquire/expand/retain client relationships and documents credit and non-credit products.
• Manages risk/return, mitigates regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks in client portfolios.
• Provides ideas based on client needs and financial well‑being to drive engagement and loyalty.
• Maintains an effective network of internal and external relationships to acquire new clients and expand existing ones.
• Analyzes and mitigates credit risk for complex requests using internal policies.
