Job summary

Upgrade Resources in Houston, TX seeks a Medium Voltage Service Account Manager to own sales, estimating, and production for the Houston market, driving margin targets and building long-term customer relationships.

You will lead a technician team, manage bids and forecasts, and pursue new accounts across manufacturing, industrial, healthcare, and property management, with a performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical service sales, estimating, or account management.
• Working knowledge of medium voltage distribution, switchgear, and industrial power systems.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and customer acquisition experience.
• Strong labor tracking, job cost, and scheduling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Established Houston industrial or commercial market relationships are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, estimating, and production management for medium voltage and industrial service work to meet or beat margin.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing service customers.
• Pursue new customers along vertical lines across manufacturing, industrial, healthcare, and property management.
• Support business development on new leads and proposals.
• Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and forecasts for service projects.
• Track labor, material, and job cost and correct course when performance drifts.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate technicians in the department.
• Maintain schedule and deadline performance across all active service jobs.
• Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact from proposal through completion and collection.
