Upgrade Resources in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled Medium Voltage Technician for on-site, full-time work focused on MV distribution (5kV–25kV), motor control, PLCs, UPS installations, and HiPot testing across diverse industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Texas as Master or Journeyman Electrician.
• Hands-on experience with medium voltage installation, termination and testing.
• Strong troubleshooting across power distribution, motor controls, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform MV (5kV–25kV) installations, terminations and HiPot testing.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems.
• Install and troubleshoot motor control systems and PLCs.
• Install UPS and standby generator systems.
• Manage small crew on larger service jobs.
• Deliver professional client-facing service and maintain a safe jobsite.
