Job summary

Opportune is seeking an IT Supervisor to drive the implementation of new technologies and provide technical guidance for the IT team in Houston. You will support incident resolution, project delivery, and IT operations across LAN/WAN, servers, and collaboration systems.

The role emphasizes end-user experience, budgeting, policy compliance, and vendor coordination. Travel to local offices is required, with a strong focus on leadership and process improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in IT team supporting desktops, servers, LAN/WAN, remote offices, phone systems, printers, cloud services, Active Directory, firewalls.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or similar preferred.
Experience with Meraki, VMware, Cisco CallManager, VPNs, imaging and Box.com is a major plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with implementation of new technologies and tools to improve internal operations and client value.
Provide technical guidance, training, development, and performance reviews to IT analysts.
Help resolve incidents and support project implementation and IT budgets.
