Metric Geo is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager focused on environmental testing in the Houston area. You will develop the customer base across Texas by engaging with environmental consultancies and industrial clients needing analytical testing for compliance, site investigations and ongoing operations.
Your role emphasizes winning new business while strengthening relationships, with access to technical colleagues to support discussions and project delivery; field travel
Qualifications
- Experience selling environmental testing services or related industrial markets.
- Established relationships in the Houston area or wider Texas market.
- Ability to discuss technical services with environmental professionals and decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business through outreach, referrals and face-to-face meetings.
- Build relationships with consulting firms, manufacturers and energy businesses.
- Identify testing needs related to wastewater, soil and environmental monitoring.
- Grow revenue by expanding existing accounts and identifying new projects.
- Collaborate with technical teams to prepare quotations and coordinate project requirements.
- Manage your sales pipeline, report progress and plan territory growth.
- Travel regularly within the territory, primarily day trips with occasional overnight stays.
