Sora Resource Group is seeking a Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Specialist to expand sales of industrial fasteners across Houston and Texas, with opportunities nationwide. You will leverage your technical knowledge to provide tailored fastener solutions and cultivate strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes strategic account development, consultative selling, and end-to-end order management within manufacturing, construction, solar, and related industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive B2B sales experience selling industrial fasteners.
• Proven track record in manufacturing, construction, or solar sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of fastener specifications, materials, and applications.
• Excellent prospecting, qualification, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Proficient in CRM software and managing sales pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries with emphasis on Houston and Texas markets.
• Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with customers as the primary technical and sales contact.
• Conduct needs assessments and propose tailored fastener solutions meeting client requirements.
• Guide customers through complex technical decisions and product recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to secure profitable sales and terms.
• Manage end-to-end order process including tracking and fulfillment issues.
