Job summary

LA Family Housing seeks a Housing Stabilizer to deliver intensive, home- and community-based case management for households transitioning from homelessness in Los Angeles County. You will assess, plan, link to resources, and coordinate services addressing housing, health, and income barriers.

The role requires collaboration with partner organizations, travel across LA County, and commitment to trauma-informed practice. Strong communication and crisis intervention skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Trauma-Informed Care, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, and related practices.
• Proven ability to provide intensive case management and stabilize housing outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Engage households transitioning out of homelessness using Trauma-Informed Care and Housing First.
• Provide intensive case management: living skills, budgeting, housing stabilization, referrals.
• Maintain up-to-date client files and documentation in agency records and databases.
