Job summary

LA Family Housing is seeking compassionate Housing Stabilizers to support individuals and families transitioning from homelessness into permanent housing. This role provides intensive case management, housing stabilization services, crisis intervention, and resource coordination for clients facing barriers to stability.

You will manage ~20–25 cases, collaborate with a team, and engage with landlords and community partners to promote housing retention and client success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in case management or related human services fields.
• Experience with homelessness or housing insecurity preferred.
• Familiarity with Housing First and Harm Reduction principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive case management and housing stabilization services.
• Assess clients, develop service plans, set goals, monitor progress toward housing stability.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records per agency requirements.
• Coordinate access to housing, health, benefits, employment, and community resources.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning for clients experiencing crises.
• Advocate for clients with landlords, agencies, and partners.
• Support clients in independent living skills and financial literacy.
• Lead client engagement activities and multidisciplinary meetings.
