Job summary

Friendship Service Center, Inc. in New Britain, CT seeks a Supportive Housing Services Manager to oversee site-based and scattered-site housing programs, including rapid rehousing.

You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality, person-centered services, monitor HMIS data quality, and collaborate across systems to strengthen housing stability and client self-sufficiency. This full-time, on-site role requires a Bachelor’s in Human Services or Social Work and at least two years in social services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services/Social Work or related field.
• Minimum two years in a social services leadership/management role with supervision of people and contracts.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a supportive housing program.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; strong written and verbal communication.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; HMIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Supportive Housing and Rapid Rehousing Specialists across programs.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery, accurate documentation, and participant-centered practices.
• Monitor HMIS data quality and ensure timely entry.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Grant Impact, and external partners to ensure program fidelity.
• Oversee workflow for housing search, landlord engagement, lease-up, and retention.
• Attend CAN and partner meetings as program liaison.
