Job summary

Akido Labs in Bakersfield, CA is hiring Housing Navigators to support Community Supports Housing programs in Los Angeles County and Kern County. This field-based role focuses on helping members experiencing homelessness transition into housing and maintain tenancy, through HTNS, housing deposits, and HTSS services under CalAIM.

You will work with members, landlords, care teams, and partners to coordinate move-in logistics, complete housing plans, gather documents, and ensure accurate EHR

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in housing navigation, case management, social services, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of homeless services systems, VI-SPDAT, and Housing First.
• CalAIM Community Supports knowledge preferred.
• Comfortable working with individuals experiencing homelessness and complex social needs.
• Highly organized with strong documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct housing assessments to identify member needs and barriers.
• Complete and maintain Housing Plans per Community Supports requirements.
• Assist with housing searches, applications, and required documentation.
• Coordinate move-in logistics and tenancy supports.
• Provide ongoing tenancy support and coordinate with landlords and care teams.
• Document services in Akido’s EHR and ensure billing compliance.
• Collaborate with care managers, ECM teams, and operations.
• Participate in case conferences and team huddles.
• Engage with community partners for resources.
