Job summary

Akido Labs, Inc. is hiring Housing Navigators to support Community Supports in Kern and Los Angeles counties. You will work with members, landlords, and care teams to secure housing, coordinate move-ins, and ensure ongoing tenancy stability.

The role blends field-based engagement with structured documentation and billing compliance, requiring knowledge of VI-SPDAT and CalAIM Community Supports. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in housing navigation, case management, social services, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of homeless services systems and Coordinated Entry/VI-SPDAT.
• Familiar with Housing First and harm reduction principles.
• CalAIM Community Supports knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct housing assessments to identify needs, barriers, and strengths.
• Develop and maintain Housing Plans per Community Supports requirements.
• Assist with housing searches, applications, documentation, and move-in readiness.
• Coordinate with landlords, care teams, and community partners to place members in housing.
• Manage housing deposits and align funds with approved plans.
• Provide ongoing tenancy support and monitor housing stability.
• Document activities in Akido’s EHR and billing systems.
• Collaborate with care managers, ECM teams, and operations staff.
