Rescue Mission Alliance in Auburn, NY is seeking a Full-Time Case Manager to support homeless and housing‑vulnerable families and women. You will manage client caseloads, document progress, and coordinate housing services to help clients obtain and maintain permanent housing.

The role emphasizes trauma‑informed care, teamwork, and collaboration with housing authorities and service providers. A bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s in Social Work is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Master's degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Experience with vulnerable populations, including homelessness.
• Valid NYS Driver License (must meet driving criteria).
• Familiarity with local community services is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Carry a caseload and maintain accurate, timely documentation for each client's progress and service needs.
• Build rapport, encourage, and motivate clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Collaborate with clients to identify strengths, set attainable goals, and monitor progress toward independence.
• Refer clients to internal and external providers including mental health, addiction, legal, and financial services.
• Build relationships with housing authorities, service agencies, and local organizations to expand resources.
• Assist with preparing vacant units, basic cleaning, and removing abandoned items.
• Provide transportation for clients to key appointments as needed.
• Participate in regular meetings and coordinate care plans with staff.
• Promote a safety-first environment and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
