Job summary

Mercy House, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Case Manager for Permanent Housing in Riverside, CA. You will manage a caseload of residents, assess needs, and develop individualized housing plans to support stability and self-reliance.

You will apply trauma-informed and harm-reduction approaches, coordinate life skills and job-readiness activities, and collaborate with landlords and community partners to connect residents with essential services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (or related field) with related experience preferred.
• Two years of direct life experience with homeless populations acceptable.
• CA driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 25–30 residents and develop housing plans.
• Provide client-centered services using harm reduction and trauma-informed care.
• Visit resident apartments and coordinate life skills workshops.
• Coordinate job readiness and financial literacy activities.
• Document accurately and support eviction prevention strategies.
