Job summary

Mercy House is seeking a Housing Solutions Case Manager in Santa Ana, CA. You will manage a caseload, develop emergency housing plans, and advocate for residents in the Permanent Supportive Housing Program. The role requires trauma-informed approaches and collaboration with landlords and social services.

You will monitor progress, document outcomes, and ensure clients receive referrals for employment, education, tutoring, and mentoring to support housing stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Social Work (or related field) with experience in housing, mental health, or chemical health is preferred.
• CA driver’s license, insurance, and reliable vehicle required for home visits and community outreach.
• Fluency in Spanish is of significant value and helpful for resident interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 17–25 individuals and meet residents regularly to develop emergency and housing support plans.
• Provide client-centered services using harm reduction and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Coordinate with landlords, community resources, and support staff to maintain housing stability and self-reliance.
