Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Housing Case Manager in Bell, CA to lead individualized case management for individuals experiencing homelessness and help them access permanent housing. The role requires trauma-informed practice, coordination with partners, and strong organizational skills.

You will manage a caseload of 25+ participants, document progress, and ensure compliance with program contracts and privacy laws while coordinating housing resources with community partners.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in social work or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• High school diploma with 2–3 years of direct homeless services experience.
• Knowledge of homeless populations and supportive resources is essential.
• Reliable transportation to support regular in-home case management visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized case management and referrals to assist housing placement.
• Manage a caseload of 25+ participants with trauma-informed care.
• Maintain HMIS/CHAMPS records and prepare monthly reports.
