Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is hiring a Junior Case Manager for Housing, Workforce Development and Reentry in Alameda County. The role focuses on wrap-around services, housing placement, and employment linkage to improve stability for families and transitional aged youth (18-24) affected by violence or crisis.

The position reports to the Housing Program Manager, is full-time and exempt, with a starting compensation of $70,304 annually.

Qualifications

• At least one year of housing navigation or case management experience.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and engaging with individuals affected by violence.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, proficient with Excel.
• Experience with immigration laws/policies affecting marginalized communities and housing.
• Experience working with undocumented and/or justice-system-impacted youth.
• Familiar with restorative justice, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.
• Must have valid California Driver’s License and a working vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wraparound assessments for families/TAY to identify barriers and plan supports.
• Provide client-centered housing support and coordinate with Housing Authorities.
• Collaborate with Housing Navigator and partners to streamline housing options.
• Create individual service plans with referrals and resources for stability.
• Coordinate payments for rents/deposits and track monthly expenses.
