Job summary

Bay Area Community Resources is seeking a Senior Case Manager to provide high quality case management services including intake, case planning, and court advocacy. You will lead case conferencing sessions and work directly within CHALK, a youth-led project focused on transformative youth development.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or relevant experience in youth programs, and must demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. A commitment to the mission of BACR is essential.

Qualifications

• Possession of a bachelor degree or working towards a degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Can be substituted with over four years of experience working in youth programs.
• Pass a criminal background check and TB test clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of youth to identify and address wraparound barriers.
• Generate thorough individual service plans featuring supportive services.
• Build and maintain strong rapport with youth to support their network.

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience with workforce development programming

Experience working with undocumented and/or system-impacted youth

Understanding of immigration laws and policies

Bilingual: Spanish preferred

Education

Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, or related field
