Job summary

City Care Inc. is seeking an Advocate to support neighbors facing poverty and unsheltered homelessness in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and connection to community resources, aiming to help guests access services that lead to housing stability.

We offer three shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) with both full-time and part-time opportunities. A high school diploma and reliable transportation are required; pre-employment checks apply. Salary is $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the intersection of poverty, homelessness, mental illness, substance use and recovery.
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team to accomplish shared goals.
• Reliable with data entry and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the mission, vision and values of City Care.
• Develop a network of collaborative partners and community resources.
• Encourage guests in receiving services that will result in housing stability.
• Participate in a team culture of professional hospitality, confidentiality, teamwork and safety among guests, interns, volunteers, staff and partners.
• Assist guests in daily check ins and check outs.
• Monitor storage areas and organize monthly clean-outs.
• Manage inventory and proper storage of program supplies.
