HACLA is seeking a Housing Programs Manager to manage caseloads for Section 8 and other rental assistance programs in Los Angeles. You will interview applicants, verify data, determine eligibility, and coordinate leasing from initial admission through occupancy and renewals.

You will use Elite or Yardi to manage cases, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with HUD standards while delivering high-quality service to applicants, landlords, and residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years direct customer service experience in housing/public programs OR associate degree with 1 year experience OR bachelor’s degree in public/business admin.
• Must possess a valid California Class C Driver's License.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple cases from initial leasing to occupancy and contract renewals.
• Review and process applications for admission and occupancy in Housing Authority programs.
• Interview applicants to collect data for eligibility and verify information with employers and agencies.
• Coordinate inspections and prepare leasing documents and correspondence to applicants and landlords.
