Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is seeking an experienced supervisor to manage housing programs, ensure compliance, and provide advanced technical support. Role includes supervision, audits, reporting, and coordinating with tenants, owners, and partner agencies.

The position requires a public administration or related degree with several years of relevant housing or inspection experience and a valid California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in public housing or related public programs (low-income housing, employment, or financial assistance)
• Alternate path: Associate’s degree and 5+ years in similar housing or building inspection roles
• Must possess a valid California Class "C" Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Supervises, develops and trains subordinate personnel.
• Monitors staffing levels and caseloads to ensure coverage and reports operational needs to Manager.
• Audits and approves unit work products to ensure HQS compliance.
• Prepares management and production quality reports.
• Interprets contracts, leases, inspection reports, laws and regulations related to program operations.
• Provides support to legal proceedings including evictions and hearings when needed.
• Represents the Manager in absence and engages with tenants, owners and other agencies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
