Job summary

Health Care for the Homeless seeks a Housing Services Program Assistant to support data management and representative payee tasks for the Housing Services team in Baltimore. You will process budgets, assist clients with complex paperwork, and ensure accurate data entry under the Director of Housing Services.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or higher and a Maryland driver’s license, with experience in bookkeeping and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile and enter data from multiple sources and submit timely reports.
• Communicate with landlords, clients and staff about move-in, leases, and rent payments.
• Assist with lease-up: prepare client paperwork, track inspections, coordinate lease signings.
• Administer rental subsidy payments and related documentation.
• Research and resolve rent payment and housing issues.
• Assist representative payee duties: budgeting, budgets, bank reconciliations, QuickBooks data entry, check distribution.
• Develop tracking systems for the housing portfolio and provide updates.
