Job summary

Pine Street Inn is seeking a Housing Placement and Stabilization Specialist to support unsheltered guests in Boston, MA. You will coordinate housing placement using a Housing First approach, gather documents, enroll clients in benefits, and accompany them to housing steps with BH OT partners.

You will also provide stabilization services post-placement and collaborate with Outreach Specialists and Clinicians to move participants into permanent housing while adhering to funder-benchmarked

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a human services related field or equivalent experience.
• Valid driving license in good standing.
• Undergraduate degree or formal education in counseling and case management (preferred).
• Trauma Informed Care/Progressive Engagement training (preferred).
• Bilingual abilities (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide housing navigation support to unsheltered guests.
• Assist with document collection and enrollment in benefits.
• Accompany clients to housing showings and lease signings.
• Provide referrals to community services and stabilize participants after housing placement.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary Outreach team to support Housing First goals.
