Job summary

Insight Housing is seeking a Housing Case Manager to support Shelter Plus Care and Berkeley Respite programs. You will manage a blended caseload, conduct housing searches, engage landlord partners, and assist with lease-up and ongoing stability for participants in Berkeley and Alameda County.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, benefits advocacy, and coordination with case managers and program staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BA/BS in Social Services or related field is a plus.
• 1 year of direct support experience with homelessness, mental health, substance use, or related social issues.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention as needed and coordinate with emergency services.
• Maintain HMIS database records and ensure timely data entry.
• Drive own or agency vehicle to multiple sites and document mileage.
• Attend and participate in meetings and trainings; complete timesheets accurately.
• Adhere to Insight Housing's Code of Conduct and maintain professional boundaries.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support two programs.
