Job summary

Hope Solutions seeks a Senior Housing Specialist to support clients in obtaining safe, sustainable housing by providing case management, housing navigation, and advocacy. The role involves coordinating subsidies, documenting outcomes, and partnering with landlords and community resources across Contra Costa County.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to reduce homelessness, assist with intake and assessments, and help ensure client goal attainment through services and data-driven

Qualifications

• BA degree in social work or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in human services, preferably with housing retention barriers.
• Knowledge of HUD requirements, tenant certifications, and HUD-funded properties.
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Must have operational vehicle, auto insurance, valid CA driver's license, and be willing to drive for work.
• Pass LiveScan screening and TB test.
• Salary contingent upon skill and experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet with identified clients to complete housing needs assessments and create housing plans.
• Assist with data entry, rental subsidy tracking, and program incentive tracking.
• Coordinate with staff to assess client needs and service planning.
• Provide housing-related resources and information on tenant/landlord rights.
• Work with landlords/community partners to identify housing opportunities and remove barriers.
• Transport clients to appointments or housing visits as needed.
• Document all services provided and contribute to program reports.
