Job summary

Hope Solutions is seeking a Housing Specialist to assist clients exiting encampments in the Richmond/San Pablo area, delivering case management, housing navigation, and financial support to move families into permanent housing. You will work in a collaborative team environment and engage with landlords to build housing options while maintaining strict confidentiality and trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications include a BA in social work or related field, at least two years in human services,

Qualifications

BA degree in social work or related field.
Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft and database applications.

Responsibilities

Meet with clients to assess housing needs and develop plans for obtaining safe, sustainable housing.
Assist with data entry, rental subsidy tracking, and program reporting.
Support team with client needs and service planning as needed.
Help clients gather verification documents for housing applications.
Research housing opportunities and assist with application processes.
Provide resources on tenant rights and responsibilities.
Coordinate with partners to ensure continuity of care.
Transport clients to meetings with landlords and inspect units.
