Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Gardena, CA is seeking an Experienced Housing Navigator to address urgent housing needs for people experiencing homelessness with mental health or substance use disorders within SPA 8. The role reports to the Housing Program Manager and emphasizes rapid intake and individualized housing plans.

You will coordinate with treatment settings, build relationships with housing providers, assist in housing viewings, and manage subsidies and documentation, including HMIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
• Experience in case management or social services.
• Knowledge of community resources and housing programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessment and enroll clients into Housing Navigation.
• Create an Individualized Housing and Supportive Services Plan.
• Coordinate with treatment settings to avoid overlap.
• Develop relationships with community partners and housing providers.
• Assist in housing unit viewings.
• Prepare and submit subsidy/lease applications with required docs.
• Manage Participant Assistance Funds and related expenses.
• Report and document in HMIS and other platforms.
• Coordinate care with the client’s care team.
