Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Housing Specialist to support homeless and at-risk veterans and their families under the SSVF program in Las Vegas. The role combines housing navigation, landlord outreach, documentation, and supportive services to help participants gain stability and independence.

You will assess housing needs, help secure housing, coordinate transportation, and maintain confidentiality while building partnerships with landlords and community agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; substitution allowed.
• Experience with homeless or veterans preferred.
• Strong oral, written, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive.

Responsibilities

• Assess participants’ housing needs, barriers, and progress and develop appropriate housing strategies.
• Help veterans and families identify, apply for, and secure safe and affordable housing.
• Coordinate transportation to housing-related appointments, resources, and services as needed.
• Maintain participant confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, property managers, housing providers, and community agencies.
• Obtain required housing and participant documentation for case files and HMIS data entry.
• Assist with temporary financial assistance payments in accordance with program requirements.
