University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is seeking a Case Manager (Community Program Specialist) to support housing-focused case management for transition-age youth in permanent supportive housing at Restoration Gardens 1.

The role includes coordinating referrals, maintaining HMIS records, and collaborating with partner agencies, with responsibilities extending to workshops and program operations. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences; Master’s may be required based on licensure.
• Two years of community program coordination, development, oversight, or administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of internal/external community programs by monitoring progress and operations of components.
• Coordinate program development and implementation requiring assessment, evaluation, and intervention.
• Develop and maintain relationships with groups, individuals, or families to create a network of supportive services.
• Develop and facilitate workshops, meetings, or conferences; coordinate logistics and participant communications.
• Develop and schedule program work plans to shape the program within funding limits; oversee daily operations.
• Maintain and facilitate program data in compliance with sponsors; prepare for audits.
• Provide routine and non-routine technical advice and administrative support to the program team.
• Prepare written products such as training materials, website content, final progress reports, and promotional materials.
• Recommend resources for program improvement and evaluate effectiveness.
