Job summary

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) invites applications for a full-time Foster Youth Case Manager (Community Program Specialist) at the Eutaw Street site. The role will provide housing navigation and transition-age youth case management to support stable housing outcomes and ongoing support.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, documenting in HMIS, and collaborating with partners across office, community, and other locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences; degree in social work or psychology preferred.
• Master's degree may be required based on licensure.
• Two years of community program coordination, development, oversight, or administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of internal/external community programs, monitor progress and ensure quality.
• Coordinate program development and implementation with assessment, evaluation and intervention.
• Build relationships to create support services networks for program users.
• Develop and facilitate workshops; coordinate logistics, scheduling and communications.
• Plan work schedules within funding limits; oversee daily operations and priorities.
• Maintain program data for sponsors; assist with audits and reporting.
• Provide technical advice and administrative support to the program team.
• Create training materials, website content, progress reports, and promotional materials.
• Identify resources to improve the program and evaluate effectiveness.
• Use advanced research to support program information requests and maintain website listings.
• Communicate with students, faculty, staff and partner agencies to achieve objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
