Job summary

Columbia Housing is seeking a qualified professional to support the HCV program with case management of participants. You will maintain a caseload, handle eligibility, reexaminations, and recertifications, and ensure program compliance.

The role involves calculating HAP amounts, counseling participants, coordinating with external providers, and preparing monthly program reports. A Bachelor's in social work or related field and 2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field.
• Two (2) years of experience providing social services to communities, preferably with a public agency.
• Knowledge of HUD, federal, state, and local regulations related to Housing Choice Voucher Program.

Responsibilities

• Interview participants for recertifications and determine continued eligibility.
• Calculate HAP amounts, tenant rents, and utility reimbursements.
• Counsel participants on program obligations and provide referrals as needed.
• Establish relationships with external service providers for counseling and services.
• Issue Housing Choice Vouchers and manage rent adjustments and notices.
