Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HUD regulations and other Federal, State, and local laws.
• Knowledge of HQS inspection procedures and related HUD regulations.
• Knowledge of building codes and local ordinances.
• Proficiency in general office practices and basic math.
• Familiarity with tenant rights in subsidized housing.
• Understanding of fair market value in rental markets.
• Ability to interpret statutes, rules, and codes.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Strong communication across diverse backgrounds.
• Attention to detail in inspections and records.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for HCV participants, coordinating tenants and landlords.
• Conduct HQS inspections to ensure HUD compliance and maintain records.
• Assist Housing Manager with clerical duties and administrative tasks.
• Investigate lease violations and document findings.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare reports.
