Job summary

The Minneapolis Public Housing Authority seeks a detail-oriented administrator to determine eligibility for HCV program assistance and manage related verifications, calculations, and correspondence. You will support eligibility determinations, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with housing policies.

This role emphasizes accuracy, coordination with landlords and participants, and adherence to HUD guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional administrative support experience in housing programs or similar.
• Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Yardi Voyager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compiles verifications of income/deductions and computes rent amounts for program admissions.
• Processes interim rent adjustments due to changes in program or benefits.
• Prepares and mails Lease Addendum/Contract Addendum to all parties.
• Identifies unreported or misrepresented income and prepares a Repayment Agreement for Finance.
• Enforces program requirements by reviewing violations and presenting evidence at hearings.
• Maintains knowledge of portability guidelines and prepares port-out files as required.
