Job summary

Equitable Social Solutions is seeking a qualified Client Services Specialist to support homeless individuals by assessing needs, coordinating referrals, and connecting clients with emergency shelter and ongoing housing solutions. The role requires clear communication, strong organization, and the ability to manage a high caseload in a county-wide setting.

You will collaborate with staff and partner agencies, document services, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field preferred or equivalent skills and experience.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, Email and Data Entry.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Travel throughout the County.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly in writing and speaking to clients and partner agencies.
• Build effective relationships with staff, agencies, and service providers.
• Assess client needs through in-depth interviews.
• Maintain confidentiality and organize a large caseload.
• Help place clients in immediate shelter and work toward housing stability.
• Refer clients to appropriate services and document all actions.
• Coordinate with property owners/managers for community housing opportunities.
• Complete forms, track expenditures, and schedule appointments.
