Job summary

Hyatt Place San Jose Airport is seeking a Part-time Houseperson. You will respond to guest and departmental requests and identify maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms to keep the property clean and orderly.

Responsibilities include handling linen, trash, and supply stock on assigned floors, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to service standards at the hotel.

• Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of guestrooms, working areas, and hotel premises.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.

Job description

• Pay or shift range: $19 USD to $20 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

As Houseperson (Part time), you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
