Job summary

Tru by Hilton Huntsville seeks a part-time Houseperson to promptly respond to guest requests and support other departments. You will identify and report maintenance issues in public areas and guest rooms, and perform tasks to keep guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises clean and orderly.

The role includes receiving linen supplies, removing trash, patrolling floors, collecting newspapers, refilling linen stocks, and supporting a clean, safe hotel environment.

• Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Maintain guestrooms, working areas, and hotel premises in clean and orderly condition.
• Receive linen supplies, remove trash, patrol floors, collect newspapers, and refill linen stores.

Job description

As Part time Houseperson, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
