Job summary

TownePlace Suites Rockwall is seeking a Houseperson to support guest services and housekeeping operations on site. You will respond promptly to guest requests and collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs while maintaining clean guestrooms and public areas.

Responsibilities include receiving and restocking linen, removing trash, and patrolling floors to ensure supplies are adequate. This role supports the overall upkeep of the hotel and guest satisfaction.

• Respond promptly to guest requests and requests from other departments.
• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Maintain guestrooms, working areas, and hotel premises in clean and orderly condition.
• Receive linen supplies from floor shoots and restock as needed.
• Remove trash and collect newspaper bags, newspapers, and soiled linen on assigned floors.
• Walk assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to complete rounds and restock par linen on pantry shelves.

Job description

As Houseperson, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
