Job summary

SpringHill Suites Avondale is seeking a Houseperson to support our housekeeping team. You will respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with other departments to maintain clean and orderly guestrooms and public areas.

Your daily tasks include receiving linen from floor shoots, removing trash from rooms, patrolling assigned floors at the start and end of shifts, and refilling linen supplies in floor pantries to ensure par levels are met. This role offers benefits and growth opportunities.

• Maintain guestrooms and public areas in clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walks assigned floors at start and end of shift to collect bags, newspapers, trash, and soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill par stock on each floor pantry.

Job description

As Houseperson, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
