Home2 Suites Ashburn is seeking a detail-oriented Houseperson to support guest services and maintain cleanliness across guest rooms and public areas. You will respond to requests, identify maintenance needs, and ensure a spotless environment for guests.

The role involves handling linen, waste removal, and stocking on each floor pantry, with a focus on efficiency and teamwork to meet the hotel’s high standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better required.
• Customer service oriented and able to work as part of a team.
• Good communication and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Description

As Houseperson, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
