Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for Home2 Suites Ashburn, VA. Lead, train and supervise room attendants and house persons to maintain cleanliness and quality in guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities include assigning tasks, inspecting rooms, reporting discrepancies, coordinating with engineering for maintenance, and ensuring safety and efficiency. Must be able to move heavy items and operate a computer. Competitive benefits.

Housekeeping Supervisor – Home2 Suites Ashburn, VA

Pay: $16.50 – $17.51 per hour

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and supervise Room Attendants and House persons on a floor or designated area to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
• Assess inventory of rooms, assign cleaning tasks, and inspect rooms.
• Verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms.
• Monitor stock rooms, carts and designated inventories.
• Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas.
• Perform Room Attendant and/or House person duties as needed.
• Inspect 25 to 80 rooms per day.
• Clean rooms when needed.
• Physically able to move and/or operate large objects, such as housekeeping carts, suite furniture, large bags of linen, vacuum cleaners and boxes of inventory.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate a computer.
