Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to supervise all housekeeping activities for a hotel, ensuring the highest cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction.

The role reports to the Director of Operations; you will hire, train, and evaluate staff, plan workloads, monitor budgets, and coordinate with other departments to maintain safety and quality. Two years of executive housekeeping experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years executive housekeeping experience (required).
• Ability to supervise and direct housekeeping staff.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
• Provide clear direction in assigning and instructing housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure QA standards and continuous inspection of guest rooms and public spaces.
• Manage finances including budget and inventory controls; analyze data and compile reports for forecasts and budgets.
• Distribute workload to maximize production with minimum labor costs and adjust staffing as needed.
• Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies; train staff on labeling and safety.
• Plan staff meetings and coordinate with other departments; evaluate furniture and rehab needs.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally; maintain attendance and be available regularly.
