Job summary

J&P Hospitality Management, LLC seeks a Special Operations Manager to temporarily assume General Manager duties across assigned hotels during transitions. This hands-on leadership role requires travel up to 90% and multi-state coverage, with accountability for operations, guest satisfaction, and team performance.

You will recruit and lead staff, monitor budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare properties for long-term success.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of General Manager experience.
• Hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Familiar with local, state, and federal employment laws and basic HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned property and ensure service excellence, safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience and resolve service issues to maintain high satisfaction.
• Conduct property walks to assess maintenance, housekeeping, and front desk performance.
• Recruit, train, and lead property staff during assignments.
• Maintain all required paperwork, including hiring documents, schedules, and payroll reports.
