Job summary

Stonebridge in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a part-time Steward to support all outlets and banquet areas by maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, pantry, and storage areas while ensuring the orderly flow of china, glassware, and silver.

The Steward will wash and sanitize dishes, restock service ware, monitor the dishwashing process, and assist with events, following health department regulations and hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, pantry, and storage areas.
• Handle and store kitchen equipment and utensils properly.
• Monitor dishwashing machine for proper cleaning and sanitation.
• Assist in transporting food and equipment to banquet and dining areas.
• Follow health regulations and hotel standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Restock dishes, glassware, and silverware.
• Communicate with culinary team to ensure timely delivery of kitchen equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning like mopping floors and wiping surfaces.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down kitchen equipment for events.
