Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking a Kitchen Worker to maintain clean and sanitized resort kitchens, dining ware, and food prep areas. The role involves breaking down china and silverware during events, transporting dishes between kitchens and banquet spaces, and assisting with dish-up during setup, service, and teardown.

Candidates should have basic stewarding experience, a neat appearance, strong customer service, and the ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Polished appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining ware, kitchen equipment, surfaces and floors.
• Break down and clean dishes, silverware, glassware, and ashtrays during and after events.
• Transport food and dirty dishes between Banquet Kitchen, Pastry and Garde Manger and Banquet room.
• Assist with dish-up during setup, service, and teardown; other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to safe chemical handling, usage, and storage; notify when replenished.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe working environment in all food and beverage areas.
