Job summary

Palms in Las Vegas is seeking a Kitchen Worker to help maintain cleanliness of equipment and dining areas. You will wash and sanitize china, glassware, and flatware by hand or machine, and you will transport and organize kitchen items for efficient operation.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least six months stewarding or related experience, and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of safety and sanitation rules is essential.

Qualifications

• English communication required in written and spoken forms.
• Six months stewarding or comparable experience preferred.
• Experience in a resort setting is advantageous.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• WASH and sanitize china, glassware, and flatware by hand or in dishwashing machine.
• Gather, wash, and store pots, pans, and utensils in designated areas.
• Maintain detergents and operate dish machines safely.
• Clean floors, tables, cutting boards, and equipment; remove trash as needed.
• Assist with inventory, transport equipment around the kitchen, and support the department.
