Job summary

The Westin Great Southern Columbus is seeking a security team member to help maintain safety and guest security at the Ohio hotel. The role includes foot patrols, responding to emergencies, and enforcing hotel policies while delivering professional guest service.

Candidates must be able to communicate in English, have at least one year of experience, and be physically able to perform duties such as lifting and moving items and enduring various temperatures.

Qualifications

• Spend majority of shift on foot patrol to observe and identify security risks.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Maintain order and assist guests with safety and policy.
• Memorize and monitor life safety systems and building layout.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel and respond to hazards or threats.
• Maintain calm, rational conduct and coordinate emergency responses.
• Identify suspicious persons and prevent rule violations.
• Observe and report on security-related conditions and safety perimeters.
