Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a Security team member for The Westin Great Southern Columbus, 310 S High St, Columbus, OH. The role focuses on maintaining safety and guest well‑being in a historic hotel setting.

You will patrol areas, respond to emergencies, monitor life safety systems, and support guests and associates. The position requires English communication, a professional appearance, and ability to lift up to 150 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• At least one year of security experience.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit and perform essential job functions during shift.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs and handle related equipment.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Spend majority of shift on patrol, observing safety risks and enforcing hotel policy.
• Respond calmly to emergencies (fire, safety hazards) and secure guests and property.
• Monitor access and conduct walk-throughs and safety checks.
• Memorize and monitor life safety system locations and equipment.
