Job summary

The Westin Great Southern Columbus is seeking a Security team member to patrol the hotel interior and perimeter, monitor life safety systems, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and calm.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience, strong English communication, and the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 150 lbs as needed in a dynamic hotel environment. Equal opportunity employer.

• At least 1 year of experience in security or related role.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and perimeter of the hotel on foot; observe and identify security and safety risks.
• Maintain order, assist guests, and respond calmly to emergencies and policy violations.
• Monitor life safety systems and respond to alarms or hazards.
• Identify and handle suspicious or disruptive behavior; enforce hotel policies as needed.
