Job summary

The Westin Great Southern Hotel in downtown Columbus is seeking a security team member to help maintain a safe environment for guests and associates. You will patrol on foot, respond to incidents, and monitor access points to prevent risks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• At least one year of experience in security or related field.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 150 lbs and work under varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Spend majority of shift on foot patrol, observing for security and safety risks.
• Maintain order, assist guests, and respond calmly to emergencies.
• Observe entrances/exits and monitor life safety systems.
• Promote safe work practices and handle incidents per hotel policy.
